We’re flooded! The aftermath of two recent storms; storm Ciara and storm Dennis - and with groundwater levels being above normal for this time of year - the River Wey broke it’s banks and filled the acre with water.

Thankfully much of the infrastructure of the project remains in tact - the cabins are all dry, the tool and storage sheds, and the pain path we laid at the rear of the acre that links the cabins is dry as well.

It was very odd to see that the pond simply did not end!…. We’re hoping that the water subsides over the coming days and at least some of the incredibly toughened soil may get softened…every storm cloud….
