Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9am-11am

Nature-based stay and play session for 2-4 year olds accompanied by a parent or carer (younger siblings welcome too). Sessions take place three mornings a week during term time in the beautifully wild space2grow community garden.

Come along and enjoy outdoor adventures, songs, stories, woodland crafts and snacks by the campfire in the magical space2grow community garden.

Led by local Primary School Teacher and certified Forest School Lead Catherine Floyd, the sessions follow the principles of Forest School, supporting the emotional and physical development of pre-school children through outdoor play, activities and exploration. The aim is to help create resilient, confident, independent and creative learners, ready to start their school journey. The space2grow garden is a unique, natural space in the centre of town to cater for a variety of young families from the local community, especially those who don’t have outside space at home and would benefit from spending time in nature with their young children.

Sessions take place from 9am – 11am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings during school term time.

Bookings are made as half termly block bookings; for example a Monday morning session for 6 weeks is £54 (£9 per session). Cost for a single session is £10, payable on booking. Parents attend the sessions with their children and are welcome to bring younger siblings at no extra cost.

Fully-funded places are available – please get in touch to discuss how we can help.

To get to the venue walk along Lower Church Lane, towards St. Andrews Church and go up the steps into St. Andrew's churchyard.

Keeping the Church on your right, take the path that leads diagonally away to your left and walk along the path to the South West corner where you will find a narrow path leading round a corner, to the left sign posted to the Bishops Meadow.
