We achieved quite a bit today. Abigail cleared the path leading to our dumping area and was stung numerous times by our ferocious nettles for her troubles. Sarah meanwhile was tending to our vegetable strips and collecting seed pods for use next year. She also cropped much of our Curly Kale and took home a healthy selection of other vegetables including tomatoes and corn.
Brendan and Simon cleared brambles, thistles and nettles from around our fruit trees making space for us to harvest the fruit more easily. The flower beds look a lot tidier too as most of them got a quick weed. Because the weather was blustery we decided against a BBQ so that's something we can do next week.
We have lots and lots of apples so we’re thinking of setting a small task... who can make the best crumble or pie!
