It was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere on the acre; the cabin lawn was given a a much needed trim and the same went for the secluded corner and the entrance point to the Old Vicarage. The main path through to the garden project was given a mow too and the main gate area was strimmed. Elsewhere Scarlett was busy deadheading whilst Aniello tended to the tomatoes and got a very healthy crop. Jaqui also tackled the brambles around the fruit trees. The acre still needs quite a bit of tidying so plenty for next week.
It's been great to look at how the fruit and vegetables have really benefitted from the recent wetter weather. We'll soon be having to make plenty of pickles and chutneys to try and prevent any waste.
