The time of the year to reflect back and the acre has created some very special moments for us all to look back on with shared pride in what we've achieved together as a great team. Hosting events for the school children of Farnham and Hackney, culminating with Santa and Rudolph in their sledge.
December has been a hectic month: Our tree was on display in St Andrews Church ( and remains so over Christmas) and was admired by so many people that it was voted "Best in Show". A great team effort! We also attended the Mayor's Carol Concert which was a real treat with beautiful choral music and a chance to join in all the favourite carols. The children of St. Andrews School performed a marvellous nativity play, Angel Express, over two days and was very special. A Civic Reception at the Bush Hotel was another event we attended which was to thank everyone for Farnham's terrific result in Britain in Bloom.
The Christmas Fayre followed, which exceeded all expectations, and then we had our Christmas dinner in our cabin, on our acre - pure class.
The Christmas dinner defines what makes us such a great group. We had groups decorating the cabin, another setting up the tables and chairs whilst a further group cooked a full dinner for over 25 people - all of which was done with great panache and flair in typical space2grow fashion. It was a fun, lively and eclectic affair!
That's it for the year, looking forward to all 2020 will bring!
