coronavirus update - 17th March

We have listened to the latest government guidelines regarding the coronavirus outbreak and have come to the following decisions to ensure that we operate responsibly and within the guidance that is being widely broadcast. The acre provides a haven for many people and its a fine balance in ensuring that mental well being is being supported whilst protecting the most vulnerable from the coronavirus.

The following cabin based groups are cancelled until further notice. These are as follows:

  • Yoga

  • Heart Maths

  • Transform Housing

  • Cookery Club

The gardens will remain open on Wednesday and Thursday whilst taking personal hygiene and distancing seriously. All visitors should bring along their own beverages in a thermos or bottle. Food should not be shared. The gardens are there to be enjoyed and worked in, however all visitors should ensure that they keep at least 2 metres apart, wash their hands regularly and dispose of tissues responsibly.

Do not visit the acre if you have any symptoms of coronavirus.

If you feel your general health is poor then you should strongly consider what impact visiting the gardens will have on your wellbeing.

We want everyone involved in the acre to stay healthy, provide much needed mental health support during these times and also do our bit to help lessen the potential for the virus to spread. Please take care of yourselves and we’ll keep you updated.
