veg club first harvest

In veg club this week the children continued to plant out their vegetable seedlings from the greenhouse and weeded and watered their patches. Some of the children were able to harvest radishes, coriander and cress. Here's Aaron from Potters Gate Primary School delighted with his first radish!

cooking with confidence

Our cooking club for Transform Housing & Support has seen wonderful recipes created in the talking shed and growing confidence to cook from scratch for everyone involved.

reflections from the acre

This week Gerard, who shares his veg growing knowledge with our volunteers on Mondays and Fridays, and his wife Marianne, share their reflections........

Marianne & Gerard Portrait.jpeg

"When Farnham Allotments were asked if anyone was willing to plant up the tubs with vegetables in front of Sainsbury's we put our hands up. After doing it for three years we passed on the baton to other like-minded people.
Following a chance meeting with Corin Harrison at the town hall, who told us about Space2grow. we knew we had found our new project and a way to help bring the joy of gardening to others both young and old.
space2grow, has given us great pleasure and we hope that we have had some success in what we have tried to do."

If you would like to share what the acre means to you please email info@space2grow.space - we love hearing everyones reflections.

As always, we are working hard to ensure that space2grow remains a Covid safe site so please email info@space2grow.space prior to your visits, bring your own food and drink, take any rubbish home and please adhere to social distancing.

Thank you and see you soon!
