Happy Christmas!
As 2021 draws to a close we'd like to wish all of our volunteers, supporters and friends a very Happy Christmas!
2021 has been another challenging year for everyone and we're grateful that the wonderful community at our magical acre have been able to feel better in themselves and support each other.
We will be re-opening the garden after the Christmas break on Friday 7th January with our regular Friday gardening club. See you then!
in our garden
Donations from local people of an Acer tree and bulbs prompted the digging of a rather large hole for the tree and bulb planting by our gardening volunteers.
digging to protect the garden
Work has taken place to widen the stream around our boundary with The Bishop's Meadow Trust. This should help protect the garden from flooding in the future. Thank you to everyone who helped in planning and organising the works.
Christmas treat for Transform
Coral's Cookery School generously organised a special Christmas lunch for the Transform Housing & Support cooking club group at Hewitt's Community Cafein Emsworth. The group worked together to cook a delicious turkey dinner and finished the day with a walk on the beach.
bodging success
Our bodger's corner provides a great way for our volunteers to de-stress and relax while working with wood. This garden dibber and stool are just a couple of the projects completed this year.
thank you
We're very grateful to receive funding support from local organisations, including the Dempster Trust who we'd like to say a big thank you to for giving us a Christmas donation this year.
And thank you to Waitrose Farnham for their ongoing support donating plants and delicious mince pies for our Christmas bonfire.
reflections from the acre
For the final reflections of 2021 we thought we'd share some photos from our Christmas bonfire on Friday. Mince pies kindly donated by Waitrose, sweet treats brought in by volunteers and Libby's delicious mulled fruit juice were enjoyed by all. We think the smiling faces say it all!

If you would like to share what the acre means to you please email info@space2grow.space - we love hearing everyones reflections.
As always, we are working hard to ensure that space2grow remains a Covid safe site so please email info@space2grow.space prior to your visits, bring your own food and drink, take any rubbish home and please adhere to social distancing.
Thank you and see you soon!
