family fun
space2grow was full of fun this week with a visit from families as part of the new space2breathe initiative giving families a much needed break from home.
Plenty of socially distanced digging for everyone, playtime with the dogs and a welcome break from homeschooling.
willow working
It was all about willow this week on the acre. Pruning, staking and weaving to create a beautiful natural border to the back of the fruit beds.
Izzy's images
Volunteer Izzy is a multimedia artist, currently in the final year of a BA Film & Digital Art degree course at UCA in Farnham. Izzy captured these images on 35mm film, reflecting the tranquility of the acre in the winter sunshine.

reflections from the acre
In this week's reflections Izzy, a volunteer currently studying at UCA, shares her thoughts....
"Space2grow is good for the soul. I am really thankful for the space to connect with nature and the community - it has often been the highlight of my week during lockdown! Working on the gardening projects is therapeutic, although I usually spend more time taking photographs than actually working!"
If you would like to share what the acre means to you please email info@space2grow.space - we love hearing everyones reflections.
As always, we are working hard to ensure that space2grow remains a Covid safe site so please email info@space2grow.space prior to your visits, bring your own food and drink, take any rubbish home and please adhere to social distancing.
