Empowering parents to achieve happier family lives

Our accredited Family Links Parenting Puzzle courses are led by trained facilitators Kate and Kelley who have personal experience of the joys and challenges of parenting and have supported hundreds of local parents in achieving a happier family life. 

The courses are held during school term times and are hosted in our brightly decorated ‘talking shed’. We host two courses the Parenting Puzzle 8 week Nurturing Programme and the 5 week Talking Teens Programme.

The Parenting Puzzle Nurturing Programme is an 8 week course which helps parents and carers with young families get the best out of family life. Sessions are informal, fun and a great confidence booster. The course offers practical, positive ways to guide children so that they can learn to handle both their feelings and their behaviour. It encourages parents to share their parenting experiences and draw on each others advice.

The Parenting Puzzle Talking Teens Programme is a 5 week course which looks at developing parents’ understanding of teenage development and the influence of brain development on behaviours, well as understanding the importance of listening, verbal and non-verbal communication.
